The Migrant Investment Policy aims to attract migrants with business experience, international connections, and financial capital.

The Long Term Business Visa Category is a form of work permit (that can be later converted to residency). It’s available to applicants who plan to set up a business in New Zealand.

The Entrepreneur and Entrepreneur Plus Policy offers a faster path to residence for applicants who will create jobs in New Zealand, and provide investment in a business.

Other options for gaining residency

If you don’t qualify for any of the Business Migrant schemes above, there is another option. You may be able to apply under the Skilled Migrant Category, if you meet prerequisites for health, character, English language and age.

Getting started: take our Online Questionnaire.

We’ve developed a questionnaire that you can take online. It will give you a pretty good idea of whether you’ll meet the NZ government requirements for immigration under the business categories. Click here to find out more, and take the test.
