- Revising domestic insurer's policy portfolio and advising on product structure, coverage features and qualifications; leading redrafting process.
- Providing opinion on continuation of EQCover under Earthquake Commission Act 1993, supporting insurers' position in High Court Declaratory Judgment proceedings EQC v. ICNZ & Ors (CIV 2011-485-1137).
- Arrangements for an insurer concerning the management and procurement of construction services for the rebuilding of Christchurch as a result of the Canterbury earthquakes worth approximately $1 billion. Associated issues relating to building standards for repairs and rebuilding.
- Secondment to a major New Zealand domestic insurer to assist with the response to the Canterbury earthquakes.
