Kate is an associate in the Dispute Resolution team supporting Andrew Watkins.  She specialises in family law, with a focus on relationship property, trust and estate disputes.

Kate provides sound advice to clients going through challenging situations in their relationships and assists them in achieving their objectives through negotiation, mediation and, if necessary, litigation.  Kate also provides assistance to clients who are looking to protect their assets prior to, or during a relationship.

Kate has a strong background in commercial law, having recently spent three years working at a top tier firm in London and several years working at another top tier firm in New Zealand.  Kate’s broad commercial background means that she is experienced in understanding and dealing with complex company, partnership and trust structures that are often involved in relationship property and estate disputes.
