Meg is a solicitor in the Firm’s Property & Commercial team, advising clients on a wide range of related matters.  Meg has experience drafting, and providing advice on, commercial contracts and terms of trade for SMEs and local authorities.  Meg also assists companies with corporate matters including the preparation of constitutions and shareholders’ agreements. She frequently acts for employers and employees on a variety of employment law matters including drafting employment agreements and policies, advising clients on disciplinary steps and organisational restructuring. 
 
Meg is also experienced in assisting clients with the preparation of wills and enduring powers of attorney, the establishment of family trusts and the sale and purchase of residential property.

How to prepare for upcoming changes to sick leave entitlements

The Government’s proposed reform of employees’ sick leave entitlements has now been passed into law. From 24 July 2021, the Holidays Act 2003 will be updated so that an employee’s minimum entitlement to sick leave will be doubled from 5 days to 10 days per year.
