COVID-19: My Vaccine Pass

A friendly reminder that in the interest of keeping our clients, our people and our communities safe from COVID-19, you will be required to present your My Vaccine Pass when visiting our offices in Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown. Ngā mihi nui.
On Tuesday 20 October 2015 nine lawyers were promoted to either Associate or Senior Associate.

To Senior Associate:

    • Charlene works with local small and medium sized businesses as well as larger national and international corporate clients.  She helps business owners and managers structure their businesses and resolve day-to-day issues affecting them.  Her expertise includes assisting with business acquisitions and sales, drafting and providing advice on commercial contracts and terms of trade, dealing with employment matters and helping clients' protect their brand.
  • Lucy de Latour  |  Resource Management  |  Christchurch
    • Lucy is part of the Resource Management and Environmental Law team. Lucy specialises in resource management, environmental and local government law and she has a broad range of experience within her field of expertise. She has detailed knowledge of district and regional plan formation and plan change processes, resource consent applications, resource management related law reform and local government and public works legislation
  • Michelle Mehlhopt  |  Resource Management  |  Christchurch
    • Michelle specialises in resource management, environmental and local government law.  Michelle has expertise in a wide range of areas, including district and regional planning, resource consents, enforcement and strategic advice for local authorities.  She has been heavily involved in earthquake recovery, urban development and land use planning in Canterbury and is regularly involved in large projects for both private clients and local authorities involving multiple parties and complex issues.
  • Nick Kovacevich  |  Corporate & Finance  |  Auckland
    • Nick is part of our Auckland-based corporate and commercial team. He specialises in public and private M&A, private equity and venture capital investment, start-ups and growth stage businesses, joint venutres, shareholders' agreements and consitutions and other general corporate and commercial law advisory.
  • Stephanie Woods  |  Litigation & Dispute Resolution  |  Christchurch
    • Stephanie is part of our litigation team.  Her recent experience has been primarily in acting for parties in a range of trust related disputes, acting for plaintiffs in earthquake insurance disputes, and acting for a range of insurers and insureds in professional indemnity matters. She also has a strong interest in professional ethics and in public law related disputes, both at a local and central government level.

To Associate:
  • Guy Carter  |  Litigation & Dispute Resolution  |  Christchurch
    • Guy is part of our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team and primarily works on complex commercial disputes, but has also acted for the defence in criminal cases and on family disputes.
  • Harry Shaw  |  Litigation & Dispute Resolution  |  Christchurch
    • Harry works primarily on complex commercial disputes in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team, but also deals with a variety of litigation matters including relationship property and insolvency.
  • Jenny Marren  |  Private Client & Rural  |  Christchurch
    • Jenny assists clients with residential property transactions, estate planning, trusts, wills, subdivision and estate administration work as part of the Private Client & Rural Team
  • Matthew Prendergast  |  Litigation & Dispute Resolution  |  Christchurch
    • Matthew is part of our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team and works on complex commercial disputes, but also has experience dealing with insolvency, relationship property, and employment matters.
