Wynn Williams has been a proud supporter of registered charity, Heart Kids since 2013.  Staff have been encouraged to jump into freezing cold water at numerous Heart Stopper Challenges in order to raise money, as well as holding regular dress down days where the proceeds have been donated.  In addition, the firm also makes an annual donation to the charity and regularly carries out pro bono legal work.
What is Heart Kids? 12 babies are born each week with a heart defect (that’s 1 in 100 births), and more than 550 heart surgeries are carried out on heart children each year. The charity was established over 30 years ago to offer support to these children, throughout their lives, and their families. Over 20,000 hours of support is provided each year.
The Heart Kids annual appeal is currently underway and runs through the month of June.  The theme “Born Fighter” has continued this year and incorporates “strong arms” to represent how heart children have to be strong, resilient and full of strength.  It is such a worthwhile charity, which is why Wynn Williams continues to support its efforts to raise much needed funds to help support the children and their families.
