Following a private early morning blessing by local Ngāi Tahu kaumatua Darren Rewi, Wynn Williams today opened the door of its newest office in the heart of Queenstown, formalising the Firm’s commitment to the future of Queenstown Lakes District.
The Firm, which has offices in Auckland and Christchurch, has had a presence in Queenstown Lakes District for some time, however, in the best interest of our clients and future clients within the area, it was time to put down some steadfast roots.
Led by Partner, Alice Balme
, the team will initially have a local government, environmental and commercial property focus. Balme has lived locally for a number of years and was previously In-house General Counsel with Queenstown Lakes District Council for five years.
The team will work collaboratively across practice areas within the wider Firm, combining its extensive knowledge of the region, its businesses and its community with other specialist expertise to provide a wrap-around approach for our clients as required.
The office is located on level 2 of the Te Nuku Building, 43 Ballarat Street, Queenstown.
