Maria is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Corporate Advisory & Transactions team. She has worked in both New Zealand and internationally, advising a broad range of clients, including entrepreneurs, SMEs and multi-national corporates across a variety of sectors.

Maria is experienced in corporate and commercial work, including commercial contracting, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, business structuring and day-to-day commercial and governance arrangements.

She is regarded by her clients as a practical, results-focused and a business-oriented adviser. Her approach to commercial advice focuses on understanding the business and its objectives. As a bilingual professional, she can effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients in both English and Spanish.

Prior to Wynn Williams, Maria’s career included serving as an in-house commercial counsel for a listed company in New York and Mexico and working at leading firms in Mexico City and Auckland. Maria is admitted in Mexico and is currently pursuing admission in New Zealand.
