Kathryn supports Amanda Douglas in the Firm's Dispute Resolution team.

Kathryn advises on all aspects of employment relations law including restructuring, disciplinary processes, restraint of trade and negotiated exits.  Kathryn also advises on health and safety matters and employer obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

Kathryn previously worked in another medium sized Canterbury firm, specialising in commercial and employment law.  Having a commercial law background gives Kathryn a commercial edge to practising employment law.

Kathryn also has experience in general civil litigation matters including debt recovery, including issuing statutory demands and liquidation proceedings.

  • Assisting start up businesses on company structuring, shareholders’ agreements, employment agreements and leasing.

  • Advising clients on the sale and purchase of businesses.

  • Advising clients on multi-unit leasing projects.

  • Debt recovery, including issuing statutory demands and liquidation proceedings.
